Re: The Pontiac Street Performance Forum: Shutting Down

Sorry to hear Bill but understandable. If you guys like Firebirds and want to stay in touch you can go over to Trans Am Country, I don't know of any Pontiac forums, I think this may have been the last one.

http://transamcountry.com/community/

I've been there for years under the same handle name.

Re: Wiper Blades at an affordable price

I agree, this is one of my pet peeves in replacement parts. I've spent the big bucks to the cheap bucks just trying to find a pair that works a decent amount of time. I may try the rain X next.

Sounds like minor things since the restoration. Some tweaks here and there and it will be golden.

Re: Puzzled? Defective leather seat covers?

Sometimes, if I don't like the rep I'm talking to, I'll hang up and call back in and get a different rep ... its worked sometimes. Sorry to hear about the troubles, that really stinks.

Re: Pontiac Electric Division

Hahaha, ya, I like that. I guess I'm not on board with all this global warming nonsense but, don't want to get into that here on a car forum. I don't mind people driving them if that's what they want for sure.

Re: Pontiac Electric Division

Electric cars are very hard on the environment, from making them to getting rid of the batteries when they need replacing. They are also expensive to replace.

Thanks Phil, that does remind me, check the seals on the t-tops, they often leak.

Re: What to look for when buying a 78 TA

I've been wracking my brain trying to think of something unique to look for but, quite frankly, I couldn't think of any one thing that has always stuck out to look for. Just normal stuff, rusty floorboards, door jams, etc. Does the car run good, does it feel good when driving, are there any bangs wh...

Re: Are Bulletin Boards (forums) a thing of the past?

Absolutely not, the Facebook format is horrible to use as a forum. You lose threads, you can't create a "room" for conversations, it is all linear in nature. I just think things have slowed down because no one can get out with their cars and do anything so there isn't much to talk about.
