Re: What to look for when buying a 78 TA
Thanks Phil, that does remind me, check the seals on the t-tops, they often leak.

Re: What to look for when buying a 78 TA
I've been wracking my brain trying to think of something unique to look for but, quite frankly, I couldn't think of any one thing that has always stuck out to look for. Just normal stuff, rusty floorboards, door jams, etc. Does the car run good, does it feel good when driving, are there any bangs wh...

Re: Bitchin' Rides
I agree, and the last time I checked, there's about a year waiting list to get your car in.

Re: Are Bulletin Boards (forums) a thing of the past?
Absolutely not, the Facebook format is horrible to use as a forum. You lose threads, you can't create a "room" for conversations, it is all linear in nature. I just think things have slowed down because no one can get out with their cars and do anything so there isn't much to talk about.

Happy Thanksgiving!
We are doing our usual and having a get together at my wife's uncles house. VA has restricted gatherings of 50 people or less, we'll probably have a dozen, maybe a few more, but, our holiday is on schedule.

Re: My love/hate relationship
I agree, I've gotten to the point that the daily drivers go in for just about everything. I still work on the Firebird unless I don't have the tools to get the job done like my new steering pump. Can't pressure fit the hoses so I had a local shop do it that I trust, done the next day. For me, workin...

Re: Collector Car Insurance
For me, I was using Allstate when I first purchased my car and they indicated I should go with a collector car company to which they were partnered with Hagerty at the time. I talked with Hagerty and after thinking about value, with the cost of the car plus restoration modifications I figured I want...
